CUBA: Mobile Phones Finally Invade The Isla.

GUARDIAN, U.K./    Mobile phones have finally breached that fortress called Cuba. They are everywhere but very few use the phone to talk. It's too expensive. Instead phones are used like pagers. Cuba has Latin America's lowest mobile phone penetration but is rising fast with 480,000 units out of 11.2 million people. But they are bringing changes to the isla.
"Even if it is not always immediately visible the arrival of new technology brings changes which bubble under the surface," said Cuba watcher Brian Latell,
