     A luxury 40-story high rise in Grozny...went up in flames Wednesday.

     Over 300 firefighters fought the blaze that engulfed the entire structure...at 475 feet...the tallest building in Chechnya.
     French tax exile and actor...Gerard Depardieu reportedly owns an apartment on its 27th floor...a gift from ruthless Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov.

     The structure also housed a 5-star hotel.
