As threatened for over a year...a Kyiv prosecutor has accused ailing, imprisoned opposition leader and ex-PM...Yulia Tymoshenko in the murder of a deputy and businessman in 1996.
Tymoshenko, 52...is currently serving 7-years for abuse of office...and also being tried for tax evasion.
She is accused of paying some of $2.8 million for the assassination of Yevhen Shcherban...and the death of several others as he deplaned in Donetsk.
If convicted of murder...Yulia could face life imprisonment.
