Giant search everything Google...may be under siege.
Yesterday...hackers may have monkeyed with its iconic and lucrative YouTube...denying service for a time...a denial also experienced by this blog.
Worse...Google suffered almost $24 billion in paper stock losses...about 8%...when it was leaked that Q3 profits fell by 20% from 2011.
Trading was halted for over 2 hours...after the stock fell 9%...from $754.51...in just 8 minutes.
Friday...the stock is basically flat...but at a still lofty $679.
Also...154 top Brasilian papers have refused for Google to use their material in Google News...without payments.
And...the French government is threatening to sue for newspapers there...that are also seeking payments for news links.
Google also hosts this blog site...with seemingly increasing censorship...but without notification...and still balky production tools...that almost shut down all functions when creating a post...even while using a CHROME only laptop!
Attention Larry Page...it is NOT a 'user friendly experience'...and a daily time waster!
Where are your top engineers to solve this longstanding and annoying problem?
Finally...more and more SPAM is showing up daily in Google Mail...though luckily still collecting in the SPAM folder.
SPAM has long been a serious problem at Yahoo mail...and it's disturbing that increasing leakage has now suddenly also reached Google.
TO READ : The French demand payments for news...while Google threatens to exclude their newsites from Search.
