VENEZUELA : Arepas Are The Stuff Of Life In Caracas.

     For hundreds of years...arepas...small fried, baked or grilled flatbreads...filled with meats, cheeses and veggies...have been filling Venezuelans' stomachs.
     The arepa's place in the nation's diet is like the hamburger's in the USA or tortilla's in Mexico.
     Venezuelans buy 23 kg/50 lbs of a special arepa flour...called Harina PAN...per person per year.
