MEXICO: 21 Oct. UPDATE: 'Hitman' Football Goal Celebration...Disgusts Some; Fine Levied.

                                         GUARDIAN...with :32 video after :30 ad

Just how entrenched in Mexico's culture are the glorification of the brutal narco lifestyle and violent death?
After Guadalajara soccer star Marco Fabian de la Mora scored the first of his 3 goals in a match...he pretended to shoot his teammate squarely in the forehead.
A broadcaster remarked: "Well, all the beauty of their goal was just ruined with the celebration."
    Critics called Fabian's mock execution...celebración de sicario/hit man's celebration.
Fabian was given a yellow card...and fined 50,000 pesos/$3,658...as was his teammate, Alberto Medina.
Reportedly, Fabian later also donated one million pesos/$73,650...to a Cd. Juarez orphanage.
