President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, aka CFK, 58, became Argentina's first elected female head of state.
In 4 years...her popularity has soared to more than 60% because of continued economic growth...and the opposition's failure to find a compelling candidate.
She seldom gives media interviews.
Instead she communicates on Twitter with 655,000 followers.
Next week, she is likely to win re-election against 9 candidates...with 52% of the vote...and avoid a run-off.
"We're here because she and Néstor Kirchner ran the only governments that recognised us," said a supporter. "The presidents before didn't do anything. And we didn't have work before 2004."
