LATVIA / LITHUANIA / ESTONIA / AUSTRIA : Anger Grows Over Vienna's Release Of Ex-Soviet Wanted For Crackdown.

                                         BBC
Latvia, Estonia and especially Lithuania are condemning Austria's release of an ex-Soviet KGB officer involved in a 1991 violent crackdown in Lithuania.
Vienna police arrested Mikhail Golovatov, 62, last Thursday at the airport...but released him.
Golovatov, former commander of Soviet's Alpha troops, is wanted by Lithuania for a January 1991 assault...that left 14 civilians dead and hundreds injured in Vilnius.
