MEXICO: In Monterrey... A Record 33 Murders...In 24 Hours.

AFP

In Monterrey, Mexico's northern industrial powerhouse, 33 people were killed...in just 24 hours...the most violent day in recent history.

Officials say most of murdered were linked to warring narco gangs.

But two victims were bodyguards for the state's governor, Rodrigo Medina. They were mutilated and had a gang message attached to their bodies.
