ARGENTINA: Corruption Scandal Surrounds Mothers Of "Disappeared," CFK Ally.

AP

The influential group "Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo" is under a cloud over a corruption scandal.
It has been forced to fire a top executive accused of misusing taxpayer funds intended to build housing for the poor.

The Mothers are an important ally to President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner...aka "CFK".
Since 2008, the group has received about $187mn usd from the CFK administration for more than 2,000 housing and related construction.

The opposition newspaper CLARIN claims that the executive in charge earned about $16,000 a year...but had a 19-room mansion, Ferrari and Porsche sports cars and a yacht.
