The body of Televisa co-host and comic Jose Luis Cerda, 33, aka “La Gata,”(pictured) was found hours after he and 2 others were kidnapped following the taping the “El Club,” an afternoon variety show that features dancing, singing and comedy skits...at a Monterrey TV studio.
His body was later found in the suburb of Guadalupe.
Nearby was a message warning other local TV personalities against working with a certain narco group.
Cerda had allegedly overcome substance abuse problems and was active in charitable and social causes.
AND: A new study claims drug violence has caused the displacement of about 230,000 people in Mexico... with about half of them taking refuge in the USA.
