ITN/

Taking intercity buses in Peru and Bolivia is hazardous.
Yet another tragic example...as 27 died and 29 were injured when a Perla del Sur bus destined for Lima from Huancayo ran off the road and fell 180 meters (590 feet) into a ravine.
Police believe the crash occurred as the driver  attempted to pass another vehicle.
