AP/ M. HERALD/A Mexican has reportedly confessed to killing Monika Markiewicz, 32, a Royal Caribbean cruise employee found in the sea off the island of Cozumel.
Bartender Nelson Perez Torres, 24, allegedly hit Markiewicz in the head with a rock and threw her into the ocean.
Markiewicz worked as a musician on the 5,400-passenger Allure of the Seas cruise ship.
