ECUADOR: Jungle Residents May Have Clue To Cancer-Free Longer Life.

NYTIMES / N.Wade /

Villagers living deep in the jungle have a genetic mutation that some biologists believe can increase longevity.
These small people suffer from a rare condition known as Laron syndrome or Laron-type dwarfism and may be descendants of  Sephardic Jews from Spain and Portugal.
They are almost completely free of two age-related diseases, cancer and diabetes.
