PARAGUAY: President Lugo Diagnosed With Lymphomatic Cancer.

M.PRESS/     President Fernando Lugo, 59, has been diagnosed with a lymphoma following a biopsy. “The biopsy revealed the early stages of the cancer so there is a good chance the illness can be treated successfully,” reported Health Minister Esperanza Martínez. Further testing will determine whether the president must undergo chemotherapy. Lugo, a former Catholic bishop, took office two years ago.
