CUBA: Trade With China Fell 31% In 2009.
CNBC/ Cuba had $1.5 billion in trade with China in 2009...a drop of 31%. China trails Venezuela as Cuba's largest trading partner. President Hugo Chavez provides more than 100,000 barrels of oil per day in exchange for Cuban doctors and other advisors. China also announced that with Cuba it will build a new $117 million luxury hotel on Havana's western outskirts.
