BOLIVIA: Pay Strike Continues In La Paz.
LAHT/ An estimated 15,000 teachers and manufacturing workers marched to La Paz demanding higher pay hikes than the 5% increase allowed by President Evo Morales on 1 May. Teacher Jose Luis Alvarez claims that the Morales “wants to be a socialist but he’s the protector of multinationals and a true member of the bourgeoisie.”
