BOLIVIA: 1ST UPDATE: Natives Lynch 4 Police Labelled "Thieves"; Official To Negotiate Bodies Return.
BBC/ 29 MAYO/ Five groups of Aymara and Quechua Indians in Potosi lynched four policemen whom they accused of extortion. The groups, known as the Warrior Clans, said they killed the four officers on Sunday. "Brothers, we did not kill police officers, we killed thieves disguised as police officers," one leader reportedly said. Government ombudsman Rolando Villena will travel to Potosi to convince the group to hand over the hidden officers' bodies who are refusing to release them until police investigate the deaths of four of their members.
