AP/ MIAMI HERALD/ Retired General Gary Prado famous for capturing Ernesto "Che" Guevara in 1967 is under house arrest accused of plotting against President Evo Morales. Prado allegedly exchanged an encrypted e-mail with Eduardo Rozsa. Authorities believe Rozsa and two other men conspired to create a separatist right-wing militia in Santa Cruz and kill Evo Morales.
"It seems laughable to me that a general with my past would put himself under the command of a mercenary," said Prado.
