PERU: Melting Andean Glacier Crashes Into Lake, Causes Tsunami, Kills 3.
MERCOPRESS/ A huge glacier in the province of Ancash plunged into a lake, creating a 23-meter tsunami that swept away at least three fishermen and destroyed a water processing plant serving 60,000 local residents. The glacier was in Carhuaz, 320 kilometres north of Lima.
