MERCOPRESS/ Bolivia and Argentina have agreed to extend a contract, signed in 2006, that established mutual guarantees of gas shipment, payments and investments.
Also with new agreement, Bolivia will increase its gas shipments to Argentina from 5 million square meters daily to 27.7 million. Building a new 50 km gas pipeline, the "Juana Azurduy," is also proposed.
