Roses for Valentine Day, always expensive, will be even more costly as a recent frost killed off at least 30% of Colombia's rose crop. Miami Beach florist Ersun Yergin said he has seen a significant spike in the price of red roses since the freeze in Colombia. And one expert predicts that the bushes probably won't recover in time for Easter and Mother's Day either.
