CUBA: Dissident Groups Call For End To Repression.

Dissidents from 32 groups opposed to Cuba's government met, calling for an end to social repression. The meeting was in the Havana home of Francisco Chaviano, who was released in 2007 after 13 years in prison. The dissidents demanded free elections, the release of all prisoners held for political motives and full state respect for human rights.
