BRASIL: Stocks End 2009 With 83% Gain.

Brasil's Bovespa index ended the year with an 83% gain. It did well compared to other emerging markets like Hong Kong's Hang Seng index which rose just over 49 percent in 2009 and with India's BSE index up about 80 percent for the same period.
