ARGENTINA: Locusts Attack Wheat Crop.

BLOOMBERG/
Perhaps the biggest plague of locusts in 30 years is attacking wheat crops and has farmers racing to spray fields to protect the harvest. The world’s fourth-largest wheat exporter in 2008, Argentina will likely drop to 8th in 2010. About 2.1 million hectares (5.2 million acres), including wheat, corn and cattle grazing lands, are threatened by the plague.
