Nelson Aguiar, one of the two Cuban political prisoners freed during a visit to Havana by the Spanish foreign minister, thanked Spain for it's efforts.
Aguiar was the head of the Orthodox Liberal Party and was one of the 75 opposition figures arrested in the spring of 2003, two-thirds of whom remain inprisoned. Aguiar was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
