Meat-Eating Argentines Must Lower Consumption.

BLOOMBERG.COM.
Argentines will have to lower their red-meat consumption by almost a THIRD by 2011...because of a looming cattle shortage.
Argentina led global beef exports five decades ago. Consumption may drop to 50 kilograms (154 pounds) per capita in 2011 from 70 kilograms this year, said farm leader Hugo Biocati. The shortage also means there won’t be enough to export.
