A gang of 20 criminals hijacked an intercity bus Wednesday and forced passengers to help them take two ATMs from a Banco do Brasil branch. The bus, headed for Itupeva, located 77 kilometers (48 miles) from Sao Paulo, was taken and used to block an avenue keeping police out while male passengers were forced to load the two ATMs into a pick-up truck.
