Fidel Castro Calls Colombia "Disloyal" For US Bases. Warns Of War.

Castro said that "the real goal (of the agreement between Colombia and the US to share military bases) is to control economic resources, to dominate the markets and to fight social changes."

Venezuela and Ecuador also reject the proposed agreement while Uruguay, Chile, Argentina and Brazil dislike it but respect Colombia’s decision.
