If you need an AT&T phone card for interstate calls, don't visit an AT&T store.
With the decline of land-based lines and the virtual demise of public pay phones, AT&T has apparently stopped selling its domestic phone card...at least, at the Austin, Texas outlet I visited recently.
However, you can still purchase a 150 minute domestic AT&T phone card...at WalMart...for a cost of about $.07 per minute.
Of course, no-name phone cards of dubious reliablity are still available at most Seven-Eleven stores.
AT&T continues to sell international phone cards at its outlets.
