Speaking of Polish controversies...some Catholics there are urging the cancellation of a Madonna concert in August.
They claim her concert, scheduled for the religious feast day of the Assumption of Mary on August 15th, is "anti-christian."
Madonna's appeal has long eluded me...especially now that she has entered my demographic... the cusp of geezerdom.
Anyway, I much prefer samba and salsa.
But to protest her concert...well.
I say...let the Polish buyers suffer through the show...and leave the parochial beliefs of Catholic Church out of it.
