A Brasilian has been named the new head of the WTO.
Career diplomat Roberto Azevedo, 55...beat-out 8 other candidates...including the USA's preferred candidate from Mexico...by a wide margin during a 3-round competition.
Azevedo takes over the Geneva-based trade organization on 01 September.
