Thousands of people protested...some for...and others against...the proposed 2013 budget...in front of the parliament building in the capital Skopje.
Some decry proposed wasteful spending...on monuments, cars and furniture...and have proposed 1,000 amendments to bring down costs.
Inside the parliament...a brawl broke-out...and some opposition MPs were ejected.
They have threatened to boycott sessions.
