KOSOVO / SERBIA / EU : Pristina Now 'Independent'; Belgrade Disputes It.

      The western powers supervising Kosovo since 2008...announced the end of their role...proclaiming the tiny nation 'sovereign.'
      But...Serbia called the pronouncement...meaningless.
      Beograd/Belgrade and 5 EU nations still refuse to recognize Kosovo's secession from Serbia...and its independence.
      Despite the announcement...NATO led peace keeping forces will continue to patrol in Kosovo.
