This blog's favorite reporter in Cuba...Nick Miroff reports about the success...and sudden demise of a thriving and popular La Habana restaurant...El Cabildo...because of old style Fidelismo brutos.
Miroff calls it 'the attack of the bureaucrats.'
With over $100,000 invested...and employing 130 people...the newly publicized 'El Cabildo' was suddenly shut down by some city 'inspectors'.
The message the shutdown sent is ominous...new crackdowns on private paladars/restaurants...like in the past.
In Cuba...Raul Castro's big plans for new small businesses...are starting to wither.
