      Buzzfeed...scampered away from its usual funny cat fotos...with an interesting array... featuring 13 Russian Esquire covers of USA celebrities.
     An editor there asks...why do the subjects all appear...so creepy looking?

     Excellent question!
     Is it simply...Slavic angst or melancholy? 
     Perhaps Putin envy? 
     Or...maybe Putin hatred? 
     But...for whatever reason...the covers are captivating.
