Sixteen suspected members of a Serbian gang were arrested across Brasil - from the remote tri-border region to Sao Paulo.
Serbia's justice minister Snezana Malovic said those arrested include two on his country's most wanted list - Goran Nesic and Dejan Stojanovic - and that Serbia will request extradition.
Brasil's ex-drug czar Walter Maierovitch said Serbian gangs have been operating in Brasil for at least a decade.
In Bolivia last year, 3 Serbs were killed while employed as bodyguards for a narco.
