Small groups on the outskirts of Santiago burned a bus and confronted police on the annual Day of the Young Combatant...resulting in 101 arrests.
Interior Minister Hiznpeter called the day “positive”compared to previous years clashes on this day.
“It was the calmest day of the past decade that that speaks well of Chile, of the Carabineros (militarized police) and of us as a society. We want to express our satisfaction,” said Hiznpeter.
