CUBA / CANADA: Newcomer Alex Cuba Happy Just To Be A Long Shot For Grammy Best Latin Pop Album.

   Alex Cuba, a musician recently featured here on Monday Morning Music with "Caballo," is one of the artists up for best Latin pop album with Ricardo Arjona, Kany Garcia, Alejandro Sanz and Julieta Venegas.
   Cuba, 36, (born Alexis Puentes in Cuba and a 1995 immigrant to B.C.) in November won a Latin Grammy Award for best new artist.
    "If I win a Grammy, we are going to celebrate. That's as far as I can go with you today. We are going to have a good time in Los Angeles," he said.
