Another group of 9 Central American migrants was kidnapped in Oaxaca and a Salvadoran killed.
On early Wednesday, the migrants were abducted by gunmen off a train carrying about 170 Central Americans on the Ixtepec-Matias Romero line on the way to Veracruz state.
Three escaped and five are still missing.
ALSO : The Mexican army now admits that three of its soldiers are accused of killing New Yorker Joseph Proctor, 32, near Acapulco and planting an assault weapon on him. The army had denied the murder for months, claiming Proctor had started a gunfight with them.
