BBC/ Widespread protests by coca growers apparently have had an effect as the government just annulled a new coca production law that had cut by two-thirds the number of coca leaves which growers could sell.
Yet the head of the main coca growers' association has said it will continue to protest over several other issues. Since Monday, the coca growers'organization has been blocking a route from La Paz with thousands of protesters.
