COSTA RICA: Stem Cell Clinic To Cease Treatments.
MSNBC/ The government told the nation's largest stem cell clinic to stop all treatments, saying there is no proof that they are effective. An estimated 400 patients have been treated at the Institute of Cellular Medicine in San Jose for multiple sclerosis, arthritis, spinal injuries and other illnesses. The treatments cost between $5,000 and $30,000. The clinic is owned by Neil Riordan of Arizona.
