EUROLAND: Germans Urge Greeks To Sell Some Islands.
BBC/ Political allies of Chancellor Angela Merkel are urging Greece to sell some of its uninhabited islands to cut debt. Josef Schlarmann and Frank Schaeffler told the German newspaper "Bild" that the Greek state should sell stakes in all its assets to raise more cash. "Sell your islands, you bankrupt Greeks - and the Acropolis too!" shouted a headline in the newspaper.
