BRASIL: Sugar-Based Ethanol Better For World's Cars Than Electricty.

Eduardo Leao, the head of Brasil's sugar association, believes that sugarcane-based ethanol his nation produces is a better alternative fuel for the environment than electricity. Also that sugar-based ethanol is greener than the corn-based ethanol commonly used in the United States. So the continuing 54-cent-per-gallon tariff by the U.S. on Brasil's ethanol imports upsets him.
