      24 men judged to be 'mercenaries' by a Libyan military court...will serve long sentences in prison...with most condemned to 10 years of hard labor.
     A Russian convicted of being the coordinator was sentenced to life.
     The 19 Ukrainians, 3 Belarusians and 2 Russians insisted they were employed only as oil workers.
     Russia's ministry expressed 'indignation' at the sentences.
     The men will appeal the sentences.
