      The 'cat people' at Buzzfeed have stumbled upon a shameful corruption of latina beauty.
      Texana...and TV actress Eva Longoria...is beautiful...and successful.
      Longoria is a proud latina with a family steeped in Texas/Mexican history.

      But...on the cover of mag AMICA...she is pictured...as a guera/blanca/white woman.
      It's a wrongheaded, insulting and clumsy deception...for those who love and are proud of latinas!
      It doesn't even look like her...thanks to overwrought photoshopping.
      What were the mag's art director and editor thinking? 

      This blog's editor thinks...AMICA couldn't blunder any worse.
      Longoria comes off...resembling blanca Mary Louise Parker.
      Pretty...but also pretty Anglo.
