It appears that talks between Moscow and Kyiv over lower gas rates...have ended for now.
Kyiv needs a lower price from Russia...or will have to levy a 30% increase on ALL its households...to access a needed $15.6 billion EU bailout.
Ukraine wants its negotiated nat gas costs lowered by 1/3...to $250....from $400 per 1,000 cm.
Gazprom wants to buy all Kyiv's strategic pipelines to Europe...but the Ukraine won't sell them.
