Moscow's elections commission is said to be ready to reject the application of Putin opponent Grigory Yavlinsky, an economist who heads the Liberal Party.
Sources say Yavlinsky had violations among the 2 million signatures needed to run in 4 March's presidential election...with perhaps 23% of the signatures...called bogus.
Yavlinsky has run twice for president...and never garnered more than 8%...but if he is barred his party will be unable to field thousands of poll watchers...to monitor fraud.
