Britain's TELEGRAPH claims Argentina has begun a "squid war" against the Falkland Islands...to cripple its primarily fishing economy.
The illex squid spawn off the River Plate/Rio de la Plata...in September and move southwards to feed.
Half of the Falkland's $69mn annual income comes from catching the squid.
Argentina reportedly is urging its fishing industry to catch the squid before they swim into Falkland's waters.
