Mexico's US trained elite Marines have been widely praised for their effectiveness.
Now...they are being criticized for widespread human rights abuses.
NYC-based Human Rights Watch reports 234 troubling cases have occurred...mainly in Nuevo Leon state.
The 220 page report describes, murders, tortures and sexual attacks by the marines...as well as evidence tampering, witness intimidation...and little investigation of complaints.
